Dear Friends,

I started my love for photography when I was little but I was only at the level of bringing a small point-n-shoot camera everywhere I went.  That all changed in March 2006 when I bought my first digital single lens camera — I began my serious journey into photography.

It has been a little more than a year since I began from knowing nothing to having an amateur understanding through reading books and magazines, joining a local camera club, and taking classes and workshops.  This month, for the first time, I am going to join my camera club’s 5th Annual Los Gatos-Saratoga Camera Club Exhibit at Los Gatos Town Hall from September 6 to November 8.  I am very excited to have submitted two pieces photographic art for this exhibit. 

This is my first time to print out a large photo, have it framed, and see it hanging in a public exhibit.  Mark and I are very excited and would love to invite you to see the exhibit.  So please join us for the reception where you will have some nice refreshments and see some wonderful photos on Friday, September 14 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Los Gatos Town Hall at 110 E. Main Street, Los Gatos.  We hope to see you there!

我從懂事以來就對攝影特別喜愛, 當時的我走到哪都帶著我的傻瓜相機, 真的開始認真對待攝影這個興趣,  卻是到了去年三月我買了第一台單眼數位相機後才開始. 至今不過一年多, 我從完全不懂攝影, 到現在有幾張還算滿意的相片, 全靠看書和雜誌, 參加社區攝影俱樂部以及參加各種與攝影相關的課程. 而這個月, 從九月六日到十一月八日, 是我第一次加入我的社區攝影俱樂部參與第五屆 Los Gatos-Saratoga Camera Club 攝影展, 屆時我將有二幅攝影作品參與展出.

這是我第一次沖洗大張相片, 裝框及公開展出, 馬克和我都非常興奮, 也非常開心的邀請你們參加九月十四日星期五從晚上六點到八點的招待會, 屆時會有一些簡單小點及飲料供大家享用. 展出地點是 Los Gatos Town Hall at 110 E. Main Street, Los Gatos. 期待您的光臨!
