Kaihalulu Beach – red sand beach. The trail begins at the
Sea Ranch Cottages (Uakea Rd過Hauoli Roads走到底 /死巷). Trail is advanced and should be hiked with extreme caution on
loose gravel.
Thai Food – Parking is at the corner of Uakea &
Hauoli Roads.
FYI - All mile markers start
counting down after Hana Town.
> Hamoa Beach – Turn left onto Haneo’o
road, 1.5 miles past Hana. White sand
beach is 0.6 mile down the road.
> Mile
marker 45
Wailua Falls – 200-foot cascading falls
about 7 miles past Hana. There is a pull out area on the other side of the bridge past the falls.
> Mile
marker 42
Haleakala National Park – 30 minutes
past Hana. Two hiking trails – Pipiwai trail is
approximately 2-mile hike through a bamboo forest to the 400-foot Waimoku
Falls. Kuloa Point Trail is 15 minutes down to the black sand beach. $10/car, good for 3 days.
Pipiwai Trails is a 4-mile round trip,
Kuloa Point Trail – can see Seven Sacred Pools.
Charles Lindberg’s grave – One mile
past Ohe’s Gulch at Ho’omau Church.
