[San Mateo] 31st Union

有天去San Mateo找朋友吃飯, 選在這家有點Hip感的31st Union餐廳.  這家餐廳其實不是很大, 但是很受大家歡迎, 我想跟它營造出來那個Cozy感覺有關, 再來就是他所用的食材/啤酒/起司都是來自Local Fresh, 這對支持Buy Local以及Farm to Table的人來說, 很有吸引力.

31st Union是一個比較適合Happy Hour, 或是幾個好友小酌聚聚的地方, 因為所有餐點都屬Tapa式下酒菜, 沒有所謂的主餐, 而且說真的菜色也沒有很多選擇. 所謂醉翁之意不在酒, 老饕之意不在菜(我自創), 是一個很適合聊天的地方.

Golden State Spicy Wings – $8

Mary’s Duck Tacos, Cabbage Slaw, Pickled Red Onion – 這要$11, 我覺得有點貴, 但卻是老公的最愛.

Lamb Meatball Sliders, Romesco Sauce, Arugula – 這也$11, 但是比Taco划算點, 怕羊騷味的不要點.

Grilled Monterey Bay Squid, Fresh Bean Ragout, Salsa Verde – 這也$11

Seasonal Pocket Pie & Housemade Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwich

菜單上有幾樣下次想試試 – Albacore Tuna Tartar, Radish, Cucumber, Avocado Puree; Housemade Bellwether Ricotta Gnocchi, Padron Peppers, Brentwood Corn; Heirloom Tomato Carpaccio, Basil, Watercress.
