週五受邀去參加Professional Culinary
Institute
為校內的Youth Team USA在三月三日Scotland的比賽做最後一次的現場模擬, 而我們很幸運的成為他們演練的實際受惠者, 享受一份3-courde that will be presenting in the "Restaurant of Nations" portion of the 2009 World Culinary Grand Prix in Glasgow.

Cooking 和 Baking 在西方國家可是一份令人尊敬的專業, 所以看到年輕聰穎的人報名參加廚藝學校是很常見的事. 這一隊要去參加比賽的五位學員都是二十出頭的年輕人, 而且歷經各種比賽的佼佼者, 相信他們要拿到金牌是很有希望的.

First Course: Basil-Crusted Salmon with Bacon crusted shrimp in a creamy Lobster ragout and sous vide leek.

Second Course: Smoked Pork Tenderloin and lacquered Pork Belly with creamy mac n' cheese, green beans with crispy onions and sauteed spinach

Third Course: Carrot cake and rum with cream cheese filling, tum raisin ice cream with marinated oranges and port reduction

別看每盤份量都不多, 像我這種胃口不大, 但愛吃的人來說 (我是吃精不吃多), 最好不過了, 因為每一盤都讓你細細品味, 在舌尖不斷感受每一口所帶來的驚喜, 我頓時覺得我在天堂, 和朋友享受一頓美食和談話, 真是太幸福了. What else can you ask for?
